Folks,
There is an opening for a job in East Africa.
The pay is not that great, but if you look at it as an adventure
for a year where you get to visit some foreign place and make money
as well as play with linux then you are the guy our customer is looking for.
Pre-requisites include:
- Being pretty familiar with Linux especially the RedHat setup.
- Being knowldegeable in networking with Linux and the setup involved
with interoperating with other OSes
- Web weaving and mastering; cgi bins etc
- Trouble shooting and analytical skills.
- sendmail, UUCP, PPP
- general syadmining including scripting. Knowledge in C etc is an
added bonus.
As an executive summary: You will be working with a startup ISP
which is Linux based. So any prior experience with this sort of work
will be an added bonus.
