I have a few questions about moderated news groups. The following was
sent to the news account:

-------------
To: news@smithphoto.com
Subject: newgroup alt.fan.rosieodonnell m tknab@nyx.net

tknab@nyx.net requested that alt.fan.rosieodonnell be made moderated.
To do this, type the following:
	/usr/lib/news/bin/ctlinnd newgroup alt.fan.rosieodonnell m tknab@nyx.net

{path stuff snipped}

Moderator contact address: tknab@nyx.net
Group submission address:  knabbie@execpc.com
---------------------

What exactly will this do? I assume all posts from my users will first be
sent to the moderator for consideration. What happens if I don't make the
suggested change above? Will the posts still get out to the net? I am
particularly interested in this newsgroup because one of my users
specifically requested it.

Thanks!
