Ok, a few questions... I got Xfree86 running, no color...blech, then I
installed metroX
it seems happy when I run configX, but how the hell do i START metroX??? I
know xfree86
is startx but that doesn't seem to work for metrox...PLUS, either its
something with my
system, or with metroX, but it has some sort of memory problem, after I
quit metrox it
locks like 8 megs of ram as in use and doesn't free them properly... Anyone
ever seen
this before? I have to reboot to get configX to even run... I'd say its a
nasty memory
hole somehow. Has anyone ever heard of or had the ipop3d daemon screw up
after installing
xfree86 or metroX?? My ipop3d daemon was working great, until the other day
when I installed
xfree86 and today when I installed metroX. I reinstalled the imap*.rpm and
rebooted and it
still doesn't seem to work. My users keep getting a mail timeout, and my
logs show a
'Connection Broken while reading line from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx' (xxx being the
address).\
Sendmail seems to be still working fine... its rather strange as to why the
ipop3d broke
on me... any ideas????? anyone????
