We are a large South African ISP [well actually the largest on the
African continent <-; ], and until recently, most of our servers
were very stable Pentiums running Linux 1.2.13 (:

Only most, because we have FreeBSD and NetBSD developers working for us as
well, and some machines were NetBSD and FreeBSD. IMHO Linux was the more
stable of the three. However it is still a definite indication of the
power and stability of free Unices.

Recently we have started to move some systems to Sun Ultra Enterprises,
'cause i386 boxen just can't take the heat generated by 40000 subscribers
like Ultras can.

Now I have to convice our Systems Manager to get rid of Solaris when
UltraLinux is stable (:

BTW UltraLinux is toted as _the_ only 64bit OS available for Ultras. Not
even Slowlaris is...

Cheers
Daniel
