More of a follow-on, this:

My own install went absurdly smoothly, although it was only a few days before
Rembrandt's withdrawal.

I did find myself itching for a progress bar on the FTP download; I ended
up doing something nasty in the shell VC instead. It would have been easier
with Bash. :)

My main criticism is that so much of the nice config tools require use of X: I
don't have very good eyesight, and terms are so much clearer, (and seem faster
even without my visual complaint).

I went back to the installer after I installed, to see if I could use it to
add a few RPMs over FTP, but if this feature's there, I didn't spot it.

Some huge smilies though, from 1.2.5:

 :) GPM
:) The VGA parameter with LILO
 :) Oh, and RPMs

Btw, with the kernel-upgrade RPMs, it might be an idea to mention the need to
update lilo. I'd used a different (fs-aware) loader (From Linux-FT), and
was a little startled to see the old (Rembrandt) kernel appearing after
reboot, particularly since the file had been deleted. :)

Excellent stuff, fellas.. Hope the CDs we ordered turn up soonish.
