howdy, i've been trying my hand at compiling some programs latlely and
having some problems. i read the readme files for the programs and take
a look at the Makefiles. some of the programs say do "make linux" and
some say just "make".
everytime i type make or make linux i get a "bash: make: command not
found"
i'm thinking maybe my path is hosed or something. rpm says
gcc-2.7.2.3-11 is installed.

ain't gotta clue!!
