Hmmm. OK, mount the cd-rom or partition that you installed from, and cd
into the directory that has the RPM files in it. (Should be something
like /RedHat/RPMS if I remember right. Then do:
rpm -i lilo-0.20-2.i386.rpm
If you get a ". . . is already installed, run
rpm -e lilo-0.20-2.i386.rpm
and then
rpm -i lilo-0.20-2.i386.rpm
and then try to run LILO again. (This is assuming that something went
wrong when the RPM file was being installed.)
If that doesn't do the trick, you may need to try to download the lilo
RPM file from ftp.redhat.com or sunsite.unc.edu, as the RPM file you
have may be corrupted.
That's pretty much the limit of my knowledge. Hope that helps . . .
