Mosaic-2.6b1 is available from NCSA in both static and
dymanic (needs Motif) versions. The spinning globe bug
is still there, and they're rather large.
I've rebuilt it and uploaded to sunsite as Mosaic-2.6b1.static.gz
after re-fixing the globe bug and compiling without debug.
