Announcing the Microline Widget Library for Linux and Motif 1.2 or Motif 2.0.
This library contains a tabbed folder widget, an editable grid widget,
a progress widget and various utilities for development of Motif applications.
It's provided as shareware with restrictions on commercial development - see
the license agreement contained with the package for details. Please note
that the Linux version is the only shareware version of the library Microline
Software ships, the library is commercial software on other platforms.

The shareware library package comes with example programs and a full set of
man pages, including full source for the demo program. If you don't have Motif
and just want a demo of the library, you can still take a look at it.
There is a statically linked demo program "ln121_demo.gz" on the ftp site.
The library contains:
Folder Widget
A tabbed folder Manager widget with:
- rounded, beveled and square tab styles
- resources for margins, spacing and corner dimensions
- pixmap images in tabs
- tabs containing Motif Primitive widgets
Grid Widget
An editable grid of cells containing text or images in rows and
columns. It's perfect for creating high-performance tables, forms
and multi-column lists. Featuring:
- text (XmString) format, label or pixmap cells
- keyboard traversal using arrow keys, page keys, etc
- add, delete, reorder, move or hide rows/columns
- heading, content and footer rows/columns
- top, bottom, left and/or right fixed rows/columns
- rows/columns intelligently size to cell fonts/images
- user-adjustable row/column sizes
- cells may span rows/columns
- full control of cell borders and colors
- 9 cell alignment options (top-left, center, etc)
- uses reference-counted cell attributes to save memory
- allows SetValues on ranges of cells/rows/columns
- callbacks for select, activate, draw, edit, focus, etc.
- up to 2 billion rows/columns
- ASCII file import/export
Progress Widget
A progress bar with percentage complete as well as optional
elapsed and estimated time to completion.
Utility Functions
Functions for drawing clipped and aligned XmString and Pixmaps.
Also, functions for creating DrawnButtons of basic types (ffwd,
play, rev, etc) and various other utility functions.
