Please don't harsh your APO brothers (and sisters) for using the word club.
Words like fraternity, club, brother, sister, men, etc. are just words.
It's the feeling inside that binds us together, the friendship and
understanding, the belief in the worthwhileness of leadership,
friendship and service. In APO, we have a diverse membership - people
who come from all sorts of backgrounds. Words mean different things
to different people. Every two years we get together and debate about
which words we'd like to use. Let's value our strength and respect
each other and find out what the words mean to different people,
rather than criticize their use.
