Hi brothers!
I've been reading the various responces about lack of participation. I really
like Val's idea about pledging a certain number of hours. But I (actually my
big told me) saw a problem. We do the A-Phi-O book exchange at the beginning of
each semester. A noticeable %age of the brotherhood fail to meet their required
10 hours. If we go into a 'pledge' type system of active membership, I forsee
an almost total lack of participation at our book exchange. So I suggested that
we set up some type of 'incentive' to get people to the book exchange, and to
have the brotherhood pledge to more than 5 hours each (right now we require
30). Any suggestions would be welcome.
btw: sorry to our VP Service for not talking to him first about this... :)
