Brothers:
In an attempt to learn more about EMAIL addresses for US CONGRESSMEN,
I mailed the President (Brother Clinton). From his office, I recieved the
following response. It's an automatic response, so it is not a personal
message.

Wednesday, September 8, 1993
Dear Friend:
During the past two months, the President has been thrilled
to receive electronic mail from people across America and from
around the world via the Internet. We are committed to
integrating this new medium into the White House and have
completed stage one of the experiment -- getting connected. It
is now time for stage two, and I want to let you know what we are
planning.
Since June 1, 1993, the President has received more than
60,000 electronic messages. The messages have ranged from
opinions on national and world events to mail for Socks. Your
interest has been greatly appreciated.
The second phase of our electronic mail project is about to
begin. White House documents will be available on line, thus
increasing the speed with which you can access information
directly from the White House.
We also plan to make available speeches, answers to
frequently asked questions, and position papers on current
issues. At your leisure, you will be able to browse through this
electronic library and search for subjects that relate to your
interests. These materials are presently available only through
select services, but with implementation of this second phase,
they will be available from one source to anyone who desires the
information.
We are all excited about the progress that has been made
with this historic project. I know the President looks forward to
a continued electronic dialogue with you, even though we are
unable at this time to fully respond to your messages. Your
continued support is appreciated, and I thank you for your
patience as together we move ahead with this experiment.
Sincerely,
Marsha Scott
