A critical part of the registration question is being overlooked. When
filling out the form, the volunteer must print and sign a form that
indicates that they have read the Risk Management Policy for the =
Fraternity
and that they will abide by it. Before this registration policy went =
into
effect, only Chapters had to sign a form regarding the Risk Management
Policy. By not requiring Section Chairs, Section Staffs, and Region =
Staffs
to sign such a form, the National Fraternity has no way of knowing if =
said
individuals are fully aware of the Risk Management Policy. I understand
that one could sign the paper without even reading it, but most people =
would
at least skim it.
This paper trail allows the National Fraternity to demonstrate in one =
way
how it is ensuring that the Risk Management Policy is being distributed =
to
the volunteers that serve in the various roles of the Fraternity.

I would like to quesion the legality and legitimacy of said action..
The amedment the the manual was not mentioned at all on the floor by the
board (who would essentially be the only ones to know the information).
During the debate the databse quesiton came up where I asked the geek
question if the national office had the databse capability to do this =
and
the answer was no So, what changed?
