<DIV>The convention approved of a resolution created by the Rituals and Traditions Reference Committee that creates a committee IN EACH REGION to examine the toast song issue. These committees are to examine the current practices regarding the toast song in regions, and the impact of the toast song. The resolution charged these committees "to research remifications of changes to the toast song including but not limited to membership and inclusion as it relates to the Vision and Mission Statement."</DIV>

<DIV>Below is the full text of the resolution:</DIV>

<DIV>Be it resolved that:</DIV>
<DIV>(1) Each region shall form a committee comprised of equal representation of students from each section with a student chair and a staff advisor to research ramifications of changes to the toast song including but not limited to membership and inclusion as it relates to the Vision and Mission Statement.</DIV>
<DIV>(2) The research method shall be left up to the committee but an explanation of this process will be included in the report.</DIV>
<DIV>(3) The committee shall submit a detailed report of its findings for the 2004 National Convention by June 15, 2004. Reports shall be made available electronically as of July 1, 2004 and mailed out to all chapters by August 31, 2004.</DIV>
