The program is called "APO LEADS". Please be sure not to drop off "APO" from the title. APO LEADS replaces LeAP, LDW, TDW, and eventual CPW. AFAIK, it won't replace FDW. LEADS stands for LAUNCH, EXPLORE, ACHIEVE, DISCOVER, and SERVE. Launch, Explore, and Achieve were presented at Nationals. Launch is required before taking the other courses. Explore replaces LDW, but it very different from it. If you've taken LDW, take Explore! Achive replaced TDW and is very close to it.

With some of this summer's CPWs will be several "Leadership Institutes", which I believe will offering the APO LEADS courses.

Uh, no, they did not move it up a week. That was the date last year.

They try to pick a theme for each SRW to make this event more interesting. In addition to being a training event for Section Chairs/Staff, they are working to develop 'training tracks' for Region staff, chapter advisors, and other fraternity volunteers. Sounds really interesting. Unlike other training events, SRW is an event which they expect repeat participation, due to changing content. If you are a section or regional level volunteer, you need to attend SRW. Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend due to a conflict with another event I plan on attending...
