Personally I don't think it's anything to worry about. I doubt that any of those "weirdos" that she complained about are actually serious and would follow through with the auction if they did win it, especially when it's getting to be over 50 w/shipping. And did they actually bid or were they just sending her emails and messing around? (Drunk college students like to play on ebay, and it could have been frat boys looking up stuff with thier letters, hence stumbling upon our letters). Also, keep in mind that anyone can go into any Greek store and make an APhiO paddle or a paddle with whatever letters they really wanted (or in this case have the letters imprinted into one) or pretty much any memorabilia for that matter, with no proof that they are in that organization...we had Tri-Chi (XXX) paddles made for my dorm's fake sorority frehsman year and no questions were asked. But does anyone actually do that for an existing organization that they are not in? Probably not...so!
I doubt that these would fall into the "wrong hands."

I would really like to see these pieces of Alpha Alpha's history
returned to them. If any of you who use eBay more than I do could help
me keep an eye on these paddles I would greatly appreciate it. I
currently have the high bid, but with a little over two days remaining
in the auction anything can happen.
