<DIV>Regardless of the type of continuation program you choose, be sure to document it and make it something that the chapter knows. I have seen a few problems at chapters who "make it up as they go". This makes the pledge who must continue unsure of what to do next. It's also frustrating when you've completed, say, 60% of your requirements, have some kind of emergency, and have to do over the 60%. Develop what portions of thepledge and brotherhood programs must be redone, and which are optional. THis way, you can develop a smart program that anticipates issues in continuation, rather than reacting to problems after they have occurred.</DIV>

<DIV>For that matter, if a chapter does not have a transfer brother program it may be wise to initiate it. Transfers, like continuations, are special situations that require something different from the normal pledge process.</DIV>
