Name three. (I'll take anything in the last 5
years and any statement from
a Dean of Students or anyone who is higher in
the org chart)
Randy
Randy I don't think he means many school
administrations. I only know of two
administrations that mad it know that they are
in favor of all male enitities, and that is
Savannah State Unversity and Rust College. But
who know who else. Because any person that
goes to the administration probably already
knows that they have to be coed before they
ask.
You probably can find several colleges where it
wouldn't make any difference whether the
interest group is all male or coed. It only
matters most to the individuals in Alpha Phi
Omega.
Think about this. Let me go to the analogy of
what if a coed chapter wrote a resolution to do
away with the 1986 statement. No cross section
of the campus statement. No have to be coed
statement. No reactivation clauses. What if
someone wrote a resolution just revert to the
1976 ruling given females full membership.
Then you would have no conflicts. Then there
would be any debate of a senseless rule,
because there would be no senseless rule.
Alpha Phi Omega is the only national entity
which should represent all cultures in the
United States. So why have a rule that turns
people away. Why turn people away. You
shouldn't love Alpha Phi Omega so much that if
you see more black men than anything else in
the group you feel the need to discourage the
group from become a chapter of Alpha Phi Omega.
So body asked, What do they want.
They want this organization to continue to be
the greatest organization, by lifting the foot
off of the throat of groups who formed to be
apart of this great organization. We should
never say THEY CAN'T BE.
Humility is must be learned
(you have to want it to
acquire it), but Imperialism
is hereditary, (you have to
want to remove it from your
system).
