Actually I worked on Boston in '92. (I ran the tours) My comments were
intended to indicate the unreality of the endeavour. Philly in 2000 has
been a four year long effort. This is an event that can only be held in
*6* cities in the US, AND it's an effort that literally eats a whole
college career. What I was trying to say, and likely didn't say too well
was our whole concept of a Convention is getting unrealistic.
No offense to you, or the rest of the Philly team. I've seen the
stuff you've done, heard the stuff that's planned, you've done a first
rate job so far, and I've no reason to suspect you'll do any less in the
last three months of it.
