Bros.,
It's 2 am. Already on my 2nd post of the day (wondering if the
administrators will allow me more than my limit of 5 if I limit my subject
to this topic). Still heavy rain outside. As soon as it lets up a bit, I'll
make a mad dash across campus for my apartment. Tornado Watch remains in
effect until 5 am for NE Oklahoma.
Latest Report from Oklahoma City: Relief crews are in area struck by the
F4. So far they have been able to gain access to less than 1/3 of the
damaged area. The body count in the area is now at 30 and rising.
Again, to Brothers in Norman and Stillwater: if you receive this message,
please report.
From what I've heard on the local news, this could be the biggest tornado
to hit Oklahoma in about 30 or 40 years, when an F5 nearly wiped the town of
Woodward off the map. It could be the costliest (damage, casualities,
fatalities), ever!
Fraternally,
Phil Dore
