I disagree with the idea that pledges don't know when pledging will
end.  I know of a chapter who, up until a few years ago, didn't tell the
pledges when initiation was, NOR did they let them see anyone's bylaws -
chapter or National bylaws - while pledging.  I disagree wholeheartedly
in this type of secrecy - are we not a Fraternity where the only thing
secret is our Ritual?  Keeping the Ritual itself secret is one thing,
but the TIMING of it is just wrong in my opinion.
