The good news is that the bulk of the convention will be going on in
the Hyatt, although the Regal will be used to house additional
brothers. Although I don't really know the extent to which meetings
are going to be held in the Regal (they quoted the affected floors as
having Penthouse Suites and Meeting Rooms). The news article did
state that the fire was pretty much contained to the top floor(s),
which should only affect a minority of occupants.
If anyone should require an update on the status of their reservation
(if the fire has changed anything), I would contact the Regal Hotel at
(612) 332-6000. The number for the Hyatt Regency is (612) 370-1234.
