Brothers,
At this point all the facts we have on the fire at the Regal hotel in
Minneapolis is what you have read on the internet.
The top (14th) floor fire (no human injuries) caused damage to three meeting
rooms which we had planned to use.
However, there are more meeting rooms at the Regal on lower levels not
affected and also available in the Hyatt Regency for our use.
The fire did not affect any of the sleeping rooms in the Regal Hotel. All
guests returned to their rooms after the fire.
This morning hotel management confirmed to me that only that one floor (14th)
where the Horizon meeting rooms were located were damaged.
That is all the information we have at this time...
