To house or not to house was a big issue about 25 years ago, according to=

archives I ran across in the Nat Office basement. Here are two reasons wh=
y
we don't have houses. They influence the size of a chapter: you have to
fill them, or you have to juggle extra people; both would interfere with
welcoming all students who want to serve. They are a big commitment in
money, time, energy, and liability, and those resources are best spent on=

our service & other programs.
