All other problems aside, I use an RT AFS server more or less every
day, and I've not noticed any slowness problems...  (and I do builds
in it..  ..from a solaris machine. :-) Keep in mind that we're only
talking about a database server to point things to the new machines,
right?

RT, vax, whatever; it doesn't matter a lot to me.  I think we should
use what we have or what we can get; if we think we absolutely need a
decmips, then we should decide that and ask for one.

People should think about this and be prepared to come to a conclusion
(perhaps even more than one! :-) at/after the meeting, I think.
