When Richard tested this drive way-back-when (a couple years ago,
maybe), his prognosis was the rosebud's drive could read tapes made by
itself or `hodge', but that only rosebud could read tapes made by
rosebud. Also, we're in the delayed process of losing that machine,
aren't we?
How much would a new drive cost? Would service be avialable for it?
At what cost?
