Hi. I'm sorry to have to be flooding your inbox with this.

It appears that someone has been sabatoging EIT. This person or persons
has been manufacturing signs very similar to the Horrors tunnel signs
and posting them around the institute in order to confuse the players as
to what is and isn't a game mechanic. To my knowledge, the signs have
contained erroneous information and false riddle trails.

The reason I'm sending this to you all is that the GM's believe that the
parties responsible have enough knowledge of the guild in general and
this game in particular that they are likely on this list somewhere.

So, to almost all of you, I apologize for this mailing, but I would like
you to know (especially if you are playing EIT) that this is happening.
Please try to do your best not to "fall" for this. I'm sorry its
happening. If anyone has any clever and simple means for defeating
these or similar things, I'd love to hear them.

To those of you responsible (assuming you're on here, which you probably
are) You have my (our) attention. Would you like to talk to me about
this, or are you just trying to cause us all a lot of trouble? If all
you want to do is go to a lot of work to make the GM's go to a lot of
work, congratulations, you win. Its not much of a competition and I'm
not impressed. If you have a complaint about something, I'm willing to
try and work it out. If you have any respect for the effort that goes
into the writing and running of a game, then please stop what you're
doing. The GM's are doing their best to provide us with entertainment
and I don't appreciate what you're doing to them.

If you want to talk to me, feel free to send email. There is of course
pitifully little I can do to you, but if I can do something to get you
to stop, I will. If you want it to be confidential, then I give you my
word that it won't go past the high-council.
