I, James Joseph Robert Beaumont III would like to take the following
positions:

I am strongly in favor of of the referenda to improve the lives and safety
of our many dock workers and I believe that 2% would be a pittance to pay
for it.

Read my lips, NO NEW TAXES (either for agriculture or industry excepting
the referendum which is at the city level anyway).

Joining the league of nations would be tantamount to signing away some of
the United State's soverignty to a bunch of foreign deviants and I oppose
it.

I also oppose giving away valuable US territories, such as Guam, Puerto
Rico and the Philipeans. Many good freedom loving southerners gave their
lives in the war against spain and we would be spitting on their graves
to do so.

I support whatever military action is necessary to maintain the safety of
our trade in the gulf. Lets not be bullied around by a bunch of southern
deviants.

It is time that we repealed the prohibition, a Yankee inhibition on the
freedom of the many freedom loving, tax paying citizens in our fine state.

It is important that the franchise remain with the many good property owning
southerners with ahistory of voting in our state, so I support the Jim Crow
laws.
