Mr. Teddy Sudbury would like it to be known that he has publicly adopted the
following positions:
The idea of repealing prohibition is folly, it would represent a surrender to
the dark forces of crime.
New taxes on agriculture and industry are unnecessary except perhaps the
measures the referenda propose.
Joining the League of Nations is necessary to maintain the US sphere of
influence around the world, the benefits of which we all live with daily.
Responding to the raids in the Gulf, possibly with military force,is necessary
if we expect our ships to be able to travel freely and our sphere of influence
to carry any force.
Giving independence to territories would be giving away valuable resources
that the US has a right to control.
Jim Crow laws are not necessary, the rules our society lives by are subtle and
flexible and not well represented in laws of this type.
