You have to be on MITnet (not necessarily net 18) to retrieve AFS.
The installation currently supports doing a stock NetBSD installation,
or a stock installation with MITnet but not Athena customizations,
both of which you can do without being on MITnet.

Done; the floppy image and kernel are in
/mit/netbsd/dev/machine-specific/ed-340irq10. You must pick up the
specialized kernel before you reboot after installing; there are
instructions on how to do so in
/mit/netbsd/dev/machine-specific/new-drivers/README.
