Scsiinfo problem

Hello,
I have the following setup: linux 2.0.22 and the 2940UW controller using
the Adaptec AIC7xxx driver version: 3.4/3.2/3.1.
I am using scsiinfo (version 1.6) and it works correctly under kernel 2.0.4.
But when I give the command: scsiinfo -L /dev/sda under kernel 2.0.22.
He gives me:
Mode Pages supported by this binary and target:
-----------------------------------------------
No mode pages supported (SCSI-1?).
Instead of a list.
Further if anybody has some programs for programming a scsi device
I am very interested.
