I'm the developer of the USB Mass Storage driver for linux. I've got a
very unusual bug which has been reported (and is repeatable) which seems to
center around the interaction of the usb-storage driver, the SCSI error
handler thread, and the host controller driver for the USB controller.

I've got experts on 2 of these 3 fields... I need to find someone who is
very familiar with the error handler thread to lend a hand. Mostly I need
someone to explain to us how the thread works (above the web pages on the
subject), specifically with respect to the kernel timer interface.

We're not asking for much... I just need someone to answer a bunch of
questions via e-mail.

Any volunteers?

Matt Dharm
