   If I had to guess, I would think that some interrupt that should go
   to the driver has just been lost prior to calling the driver
   interrupt routine.

Gerard, I think you are right, or it is some other sparc PCI support
specific problem.  Matt and I will do some investigations in the
background, so don't worry about this any more until we tell you
otherwise :-)
