You will need version .36 to make the scsi work. It will not recognise the
scsi controler, and do scsi then. You will get messages "no scsi host found"
when
still at 2.0.35.
Greetings, Aart Scheepers
Ps. This was in some mails ago about the scsi controller:
Thank him for the answer.

I'm using the ASUS P2B-L (No SCSI), but I have
an Adaptech 2940 U2W. I'm running Redhat 5.1
with kernel 2.0.35 and everything is fine.
1) Use ftp.dialnet.net boot disks for redhat to install
2) Boot ftp.dialnet.net suse boot disk to get to disk
3) load 2.0.35 kernel source for dos partition
4) load patch from ftp.dialnet.net for 2.0.35
5) build kernel and reboot.

I've got the same board. It works. You have to upgrade to version 2.0.36
!
though to get the
scsi to work.
