I've updated the scsi-idle patch to 2.1.127-pre3. You can find it here:

Linus, may we hope that this patch will be included in the official kernel one
day (2.2 or 2.3) ? It's been stable for me (and others I guess) for ages.
If not, why, and what can we do ?
