Hi,

I too have tried and failed on a Compaq Prosignia VS.
It turns out that the 53c710 driver doesn't support the EISA bus system
which compaq used on these computers.
Until someone from the driver community feels the desire to make the
necessary modifications to the driver it will not work.

I have noticed a few people over the last few months with similar
hardware desparetly trying to make these work so perhaps it will one day
tickle someones fancy.

Regards

Dave
