Gentlemen,
I am running Linux 2.0.33 with Adaptec AHA-294X Ultra SCSI host adapter.
I had one Western Digital Enterprise drive. Now I added another (IBM OEM
DFHSS4W) and I cannot load my linux anymore. At a boot time it detects
both drivers, but then it cannot connect to the first one.
Here is the error:
scsi : detected 2 SCSI disks total.
SCSI device sda: hdwr sector= 512 bytes. Sectors= 4254819 [2077 MB]
(scsi0:0:1:0) No active SCB for reconecting target - Issuing BUS DEVICE
RESET.
SAVED_TCL=0x10, ARG_1=0xff, SEQADDR=0x10c
scsi0: Unexpected busfree, LASTPHASE = 0xa0, SEQADDR = 0xa0
(scsi0:0:1:0) Using 16 bit (Wide)transfers.
(scsi0:0:1:0) sending replay SDTR

And this error repeats again and again.
I have noticed, that both drives have same LUN = 0. I have no clue, is
it ok or not?
I also had tried to switch SCSI IDs for the drives and try to run linux
when IBM's id =0 and WD's id = 1. It did not make any difference.
So does anybody know what is the problem? Does anybody runs similar
configuration? Is it IBM drive, is it scsi controller, or it's just me?
Thanks for any suggestions and moral support,
Viktor Borisov

PS. Here is information from /proc/scsi (whan I run with one HD) if it
any helpful.
