Hello-
I am a newbie to the Linux OS (Redhat), and have a few scsi questions.
First of all, Linux is on a separate IDE hard drive, Windows is on my
scsi drives, I did not compile Linux to use the scsi, because I was
having problems getting it to recognize the adapter (bus logic-
supported). My question is this. My bios is a version that I cannot boot
to the scsi before the IDE, so, to use windows, I must unplug the IDE
drive. Is there a way (once I get scsi involved with Linux) to use a
dual boot mode with LILO, windows being the default boot (seeing as it
will only boot to the IDE if it is attached)? I do not want to
repartition the scsi drives in anyway. Should I look for a bios upgrade,
or is there a way to do this? I have read the HOWTO's, and can't seem to
find anything to fit this particular situation.
Thank you- LP
