I just reconfigured my kernel and I have seen a switch in "IDE,MFM etc"
area, where you can define support for "multiple drivers" (MD) perhaps that's
what you're locking for. I don't know if that works also for SCSI. Find out ;-)
I don't use it. Instead I use symbolic links, because I like to know, where my
data actually is.
