I have several systems here (AIX, HPUX, IRIX, Solaris, Linux). On
all the system except Linux I can hook up several terrabytes
of disk space and group them into logical volumes. By creating
volume groups I can easily resize space allotments.
In all other respects Linux is a great OS, but without the above
capability it's relegated to a 'desktop' OS. Does anyone here
have any insight as to if/when this capability will be incorporated
into the Linux system?
