The 53c896 is suypported in theory, but never tested. Symbios is
still rev'ing silicon. Controllers should be available to test in
about a month.

The driver developers are using the SYM8951U which is the 53c895 card
from Symbios. Symbios has supported the development of the Linux
driver by providing controllers and documentation to the developers.
