No, the AMI MegaRAID (aka ALR ADAC) controller is not supported. They
won't write a driver nor release programming information.
However, as a recipient of this controller who was disappointed by the
lack of support, I'm encouraging all who have or want to use this
controller to contact AMI and let them know we want Linux support. The
more the better!

However, you should consider using the software RAID drivers. It seems
that, contrary to expectations, the software RAID is often (always?)
faster than hardware RAID. If you haven't done so already, try
