In addition to what Daniel said in a previous mail, unfortunately
the fact that a drive works on Win95 doesn't mean that there are no
termination problem. The driver developpers for Win95 have a lot
more facilities to test and enhance their product, thus they can come
up with more robust drivers.

In fact changing the cables and terminators to good quality stuff helps
most of the time, even if you think you're using already good cables
(i.e. Adaptec genuine is not quite the best).
