I have same trobles: machine witch VX/TX chipsets Cyrix200MX, but 
Intel P100 too. With or w/out etherrnet. 'Trouble starts' during work 
with streamer Tandberg 4222 (QIC 2.5/5GB) & 1.2GB model too
Kernels 2.0.30 - 2.0.32, (RH 4.2/5.0 too)
