I know the Symbios Logic 53C90, which is a very old 10 MHz
SCSI chip, programmed through a discrete command interface
(low-level commands, no SCRIPTS engine).

There is a driver (qlogicfas, also an amd something) which should
be quite compatible with it.

But this 400A is a mystery for me.
