OK, I tried that. I hit Ctl-D during the boot and got the firmware setup
menu. It allowed me to choose between 5, 8, 10, and 20 MB/sec, and it was
already set on 20, which I re-selected. However, after booting, I see the
following:
[root@host]# cat /proc/scsi/eata_dma/1
EATA (Extended Attachment) driver version: 2.59b
<snippage>
scsi1 : HBA PM3334UW
Firmware revision: v07H.4
Hardware Configuration:
IRQ: 11, level triggered
DMA: BUSMASTER
CPU: MC68040 20MHz
Base IO : 0xd810
Host Bus: PCI
SCSI Bus: WIDE Speed: 10MB/sec.
<snippage>
[root@cave Incoming]#
So, what's that "10MB/sec" doing there? Is my driver up to date? Is my
firmware up to date?
