OK. I tried changing the ID of the CD Drive to 5 (it was 6). Now the SCSI
adapter and CD-ROM are recognised by Linux.
The IRQ is 5 and base address is 0xCA000.

However I now get the following errors:

running: /bin/insmod /bin/insmod /tmp/seagate.o controller_type=2 base_address=0xca000 irq=5

As you can see, it seems to recognise my adapter and drive OK.
Any idea what those 'disk change' errors are? The RedHat CD is in the drive,
and I don't change the disk.
The CD *is* accessible from DOS. I boot from DOS using RedHat's 'autoboot'
script. This essentially runs LOADLIN from the CD.
So there is no problem reading the CD from DOS. Anyone any ideas why the install
program has a problem reading from the CD?

Thanks again

Garry
