Recently, I had a problem where 2 PCI cards both wanted the same IRQ, irq 9.
These cards where the buslogic 948 and smc etherpower. Fortunately, smc had
a program that changed the irq to 5.

First, I tried to change the irq on my buslogic card. I took out the smc
card and a secondary Future Domain card that I had in my system. Then I
booted to Win 95, and ran ScsiView (v 1.0). With this program, you could do
many things, like configuration settings, except change the IRQ. Even the
Win 95 control panel would not let me change the irq.

So my question is, how do you change the irq setting? Any ideas? I would
like to know for future reference in case I have a similar problem.

You must convince the motherboard's PCI BIOS to assign different IRQs. Usually
the BIOS setup has some options for doing so, but not all systems have this
available. The BusLogic card has no control over what IRQ is assigned.
