Problems with adaptec aha-1515

I've problems configuring my aha-1515 scsi host adapter in the
installation phase. On the ID 0 of my host adapter there is a IBM 31080
SCSI Hard Disk. The adapter has been configured so:
Addr : 0x340
Irq : 11
Host adapter ID : 7
No reconnection
No Parity check.
When i boot with the linux boot disk for aha-152x host adapter the
installation program find my board but don't recognise my SCSI disk on
the ID 0.
Why??
