hello is there anyone out there whos had experience
with an adaptec AHA-2940AU scsi adaptor under linux
that could help me install one.
i have the adaptor with an old quantum scsi drive (formatted for amiga)
i wish to mount under the amiga fast file system
however the kernel will detect 1 host but will constantly timeout
when scanning channel A device 0 lun0 etc
the drive and card are properly terminated and parity enabled
the controller will correctly identify the drive with the built in utilities
any help greatly appreciated
